Deserving Divas was founded in Montreal in 2004 on the premise of celebrating, empowering and pampering women of all walks of life through the creation of exciting events. We knew we were onto something big when 400 other women gathered at our first event to celebrate the Diva within. Our plan is to indulge, pamper, spoil, and make you laugh, while continuously giving you the chance to sometimes live beyond, way beyond the box by participating in a variety of themed events that strive to be fun and social. These gatherings vary from day time and evening events around health, fitness, shopping, spas, wine and dance, to weekend getaways.

“If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun.” This noted quote by Katherine Hepburn expresses the vision of Deserving Divas, which in our own words says, “Ladies, Welcome to YOUR Playground!” To date, more than 5,000 women just like you, from all over the world have signed up to be a Deserving Diva.

Our company’s founder, Lisa McKenzie, a moxie Mom of two little divas-in-training, is a driving force of boundless energy who understands the value of taking care of yourself and finding the “me time” that is so often neglected in the lives of busy women. When Lisa is not whipping up the next event, she is busy creating success stories for her clients at her two other ventures as managing partner of Red Carpet Strategies Consulting where she designs cross-platform marketing strategies focused on social media and the Social Media Academy for Women where she is co-founder and faculty trainer specializing in Marketing with Women.
